We're excited to reveal the final family room makeover from Lauren over at House of Hire Designs! The goal for the space was to have a suitable space for family lounging where they could curl up on the couch and watch a movie yet also function as a buttoned up and mature space for times when they needed to use it for adult entertaining.

"I am so happy with how the room has come together and probably one of the biggest impacts in the whole space is the shiplap feature wall using one of my favourite products of all time, Stikwood. Now this was a project that took some time simply because I wanted the whole wall done including the edges of the build out but I have to say, Stikwood is legit a game changer in creating these wood feature walls guys you need to try it!" -Lauren
The surface of traditional shiplap has a smooth surface with almost a sheen from the paint. Our Hamptons style has all of the original knot holes and nail holes from the core of Reclaimed Pine which give the finished look the imperfections and texture that really make it a unique focal point in the room.
