5 Profiles for Exterior and Interior Applications

Choose from four exterior profiles and one thinner profile made for interior walls and ceilings.

Nominal 1x6

The classic wood look. Slight variation in seams between boards when applied. If desired, edges can easily be squared on the job site with minimal equipment. Complements both modern and traditional design styles. Well suited for product manufacturing purposes.

Tongue & Groove

Precision-milled with interlocking joints, ensuring a tight fit, reduced visibility of seams between boards and increased weather protection. Suitable for exteriors or direct-to-stud interior application.

Shiplap

Milled with overlapping top and bottom edges. This profile offers versatility, and can be installed with tight seams to create smooth transitions between boards, or with “nickel gap” spacing which creates a distinct appearance with repeating parallel lines. Overlapped top and bottom edges allow for increased weather protection. Suitable for exteriors or direct-to-stud interior application.

Sanded 3 Sides

A “cleaned up” version of the nominal 1x6 profile. Consistent width and thickness, squared edges and smooth back. Milled for tight lines and smoother transitions between boards. Suitable for exteriors, or direct-to-stud interior applications.

Interior Finish Plank

At ¼ in. thick and 5 in. wide, this slimmer profile brings the character of reclaimed weathered wood indoors with less projection from the surface. Designed for nail installation over a suitable substrate, it is ideal for interior wall and ceiling cladding.

Our exterior siding planks are harvested from Wyoming snow fences and milled in Laramie, Wyoming. This domestic supply provides authentic reclaimed wood with traceable origins.

3. Quality Real Wood and Natural Finishes

Elements Reclaimed Weathered Wood Exterior Siding Planks are made from real reclaimed Eastern White Pine, Fir and Spruce. These planks are unfinished, featuring the simple natural patina of the reclaimed planks. This product is FSC® Recycled certified.

4. Sustainable, Eco-Smart Design.

The wood is reclaimed from Wyoming snow fences, extending the useful life of an existing material instead of harvesting new wood for the product.

The product is FSC® Recycled 100% certified under certificate C125172 and is offered unfinished or with optional project-specific treatments.

We do not cover our woods in toxic plastic finishes, preferring natural finishes that leave nothing between you and the authentic, healthy beauty of the natural wood. This product is GREENGUARD Gold certified, meeting stringent standards for low chemical emissions in indoor environments.
